A top 50 law firm


The situation: 

The firm wanted to carry out salary benchmarking for their business services division with over 60 roles to be scoped.


The solution:

Our research team worked through each role to find live data from the legal and other sectors.  This involved extensive research including:

  • Use of a range of market leading tech


The result:

We delivered the full benchmarking research results within 3 weeks.  For each team/division we were able to provide a range of live data as well as a narrative on key issues relating to the firm, its pay and its structures.

A large professional services business


The situation:

They struggled to recruit into a key role and could not get a clear understanding of what the key barriers were from their traditional recruiters.


The solution:

  • we provided an interim specialist to help bridge the gap while a permanent candidate was hired 
  • we met with a range of internal stakeholders, including previous post holders to establish the challenges as the business saw them
  • we mapped and engaged with the market and identified 3 key issues with the current role which were: Pay, progression, and perceived culture

The result:

The client were able to address the 3 issues which led to a short list of 6 interested candidates from which they were able to hire the best candidate. 

Using our feedback from the wider talent pool, the client have been able to review and change they way they advertise the roles to better communicate the employee value proposition.
